OASIS is a registered Non Profit Organization (NPO) and Public Benefit Organization (PBO) in South Africa. We create campaigns and programmes that use sport for social change. Whether you’re a company or an individual, you can make donations to support our work in South Africa and help to make a positive change in the daily lives of people in some of Cape Town’s most vulnerable and marginalised communities.
This is where your donation goes:
Funding our daily work within various communities
Contributions to staff payments
Helping with electricity payment and food for people living at OASIS
Transport for children in the programmes (we are currently in need of our own vehicle for such purposes)
Assisting with petrol or diesel for our vehicles for OASIS Football Club
Sponsoring the club and getting your company name exposed on our attire and kit
Paying for the annual membership to SAFA CT
Purchasing kit and tracksuits
You can also donate stationery for the children at school in the club

Volunteer With Us
By giving your time, skills and effort, you can make a remarkable difference. Volunteering in a social context allows you to work with children from vulnerable communities all across Cape Town. You will be able to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Volunteering with us will place you in orphanages, schools and organisations that devote time and energy to making a difference within the community. Projects in this category are run by individuals and organisations who are committed to making a difference, who believe the future of our society lies in the hands of our children.
Make a positive difference by using surfing as a tool to change the lives of Cape Town’s underprivileged children. Spend hours surfing and playing with the kids on one of Cape Town’s famous surfing beaches.
Any volunteer is requested to help in various departments of OASIS. While some administrative tasks might be involved, we also make sure that our volunteers get out into the communities and get to know the areas we work in and the work we do there.
What does your day look like as a volunteer?
As with any other member of staff, you will start around 9am and finish at 4pm. You’ll be part of staff meetings and also give input. You’ll visit the various communities and schools we work in and assist a permanent member of staff.
We do not have accommodation, so ideally we would ask volunteers to find their own place to stay. We are always able to advise.
